Am I mssing something? How can this be a Gamer from 2005 or 2006?

Tony Thomas graduated High School in 2004.

Tony Thomas played 51 minor league games in 2007 and 113 in 2008.

How can this be a game used glove from 2005 or 2006?

I'm not sure I understand the confusion. If he used it in 2005 that simply would mean he used it in college. He graduated high school in 04, was a Freshman at FSU in 05 where he played in 71 games.

If that's the case, then they should be more specific on when and where the glove was used. You also can't just assume it was used in college. He could have used it in his back yard.

I think that more information in the auction description would be helpful but I also don't see it as a big deal. I have no idea who the kid is, I googled his name and found out that if the glove was used in 2005 then it was used in college, not a big discovery.

Your statement about being used in the back yard is also true of every single game used glove on the market.

Sorry for a double post but I'm confused again. If the glove was used in 2005 why can't I assume he used it in college if that is where he was playing?

If you have an Arod glove that says "game used 05" do you assume he used it in the MLB? If so, why? What's the difference in the two instances?
