Are you talking about the bat that was auctioned off about a month ago for flood relief? I emailed mlb.com and was told that there wasn't anything at all stamped into the knob of the bat, so I guess it wasn't even "game issued."

Thats odd as it hat the -Pro- labeling. I have NEVER seen one with that without the knob stamping. My guess is that the mlb.com rep didn't check. I have gotten more lazy responses from mlb.com than I can count. They rarely answer my question now and there is no way to followup with them. I am betting it was stamped and they didn't even check. Their service sucks!

Sorry, didn't mean to get irate from your post but they deliver THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever experienced. Good items, bad employees and horrible communication system.
