Hey guys ... I have a few MLB jersey/pants sets I'm thinking about displaying. I like full body mannequin look but am open to other suggestions that have worked well for others.
Anyone have experience with mannequins (good/bad) they'd be willing to share?
Mannequin recommendations (manufacturer/decent quality/reasonable price/etc.)?
Other display suggestions?Pictures welcome and encouraged.

Thanks in advance.
Mike

i bought for nice mannequins from ebay for 200 delivered. i like them a lot. they have a nice wooden base and nice cover. i dont really like the look of the medal bases. i also like these becasue its easier to change out the jerseys.

Thanks, Fnazxc0114. Those sound nice. Who makes the mannequins you purchased on eBay?

I actually bought an inflatable mannequin torso a couple weeks ago and i love it. I'm using it to display a jersey and it has a metal stand. Total i think it was 40.

doesn't just using a mannequin leave it susceptible to getting dirty and dusty, there's not outter covering to it is there?

I forgot to mention i have a clear thin plastic cover over the jersey that stretches to the ground. Its like a cover they use at the dry cleaners. It displays very nicely and that way it doesnt get dusty like costas said.

if it's not too much an inconvenience would you be able to post a photo of your display? I'm also looking for some ideas on how to display a MLB uniform I recently purchased. thank you

I was hoping for photos too. If you have mannequins that work well, the name(s) of the manufacturer would be helpful too.

Thanks again.

It is adjustable. The height can be adjusted to about 52 inches high.

Members,

Go to www.robertham.com (http://www.robertham.com) He has the best mannequin torsos for the money. His price went up $5.00, but if you order six you receive a discount. I purchased them about a year ago and they are made a very strong quality materials. Wood base and steel tubing is very sturdy and the mannequin is hard foam with jersey material on the outside. They even come with a wood top which you can sand down flat. They look very profession and do not tip or lean like many others.

They were delivered UPS, two to a box, and they were professionally packed. I am getting ready to purchase 6 more.

Thanks.
