Hi Everyone,
I own an interesting jersey that was supposedly worn by Lynn Swann during his college days. I have owned it since 2000, and the person I acquired it from originally obtained the jersey from USC Assistant Coach Marv Goux. The jersey is unwashed and quite dirty (looks like it may have been used in the rain). It is consistent with Swann's size, but does not have any manufacturer or size tags.
I'm wondering if anyone here recognizes this jersey. Swann was a member of several College All-Star teams, but college photos from the 1971-74 era seem extremely hard to find. I'm even wondering if this is a practice jersey used before one of those College All-Star games...
The provenance of this item seems to be right in line, but I would love to know what exactly this jersey was used for.
