The dot on the knob is interesting considering Jeter never has anything on the knobs of his bats. Probably put on by the folks at HB when they flag rejects or perhaps it got to Jeter and the Yankees and they put it on?

I cherish the thought that Derek may have been delivered this bat by mistake and can only imagine the reaction.

Picked up a Mike Cameron Brewers Negro League Throwback jersey and pants, complete with MLB holo, as well as grass and dirt stains. Small set 1 tag below the AIS 50 tag. Huge jersey, baggy size 50. Worn on July 5, 2008 and on the wall one month later!

I just picked up a Sizemore GU TBTC jersey, helmet hat and pants from MLB.com auctions through the Marineers charity auction! This is my 2nd Sizemore MLB authenticated jersey (Jackie Robinson day) and third sizemore jersey overall. Looks like it shows some great use and I was pumped to get the helmet, hat jersey and pants.

Well I looked inside one cleat to look at the size and found a dead chameleon. I sure hope it wasn't a game used chameleon because it's now it the trash. Definately the most unique find in a game used item.

I've been trying to find some of the red and blue game worn Ole Miss baseball jerseys for a couple of years. Finally hit the jackpot. This is pretty much every style they have worn since around 2001. They are going to all Nike next year and most of these were made by Wilson. A couple still have names on the back. Also one of them was worn by Seth Smith currently with the Rockies, but doesn't still have the name tag.

Got these in the mail the other day. Robinson Cano game used 2008 gloves and they also came with a used wristband. The people down at MC sports are great, great items and fast shipping. And i also got a game used 2008 melky Cabrera bat. Bat was made on 2/1/2008. I will pay anyone $15 if you can photo match it. I have no idea what the pink marks are.

I JUST PICKED UP THIS CHARLIE MOORE GAME USED BAT FROM FELLOW FORUM MEMBER DAVE PEARCE. THIS BAT IS FROM 1980-1983 AND IS UNCRACKED. IT SHOWS GREAT GAME USE WITH MANY BALL AND STITCH MARKS AND A LIGHT COAT OF PINETAR ON THE HANDLE. THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST MOORE BATS I'VE EVER SEEN. CHARLIE WAS A MEMBER OF THE 1982 AMERICAN CHAMOIN MILWAUKEE BREWERS.

My jersey says game used Jim Thome Negro league jersey. The pants come up as game used pants only. But, Marc was able to match them up since they had the #25 sewn in the back. :D

Sunday I was actually lucky enough to see an M’s win vs. the O’s! I also picked up this JJ Putz turn back the clock to 1979 jersey from this year, while he didn’t pitch he did suite up and the M’s won that one too! (They had complete unis for Dickey, Charlton, Burke- Cap/Jersey/Pants)

I am watching the M’s right now and Raul just hit another grand slam! RRRAAAAUUUULLLL! Glad the Mets didn’t get him J

BTW- The tag on this jersey is different from other TBTC jersey, it doesn’t have the typical 0062. Image included.

Yeah I got the link but I cant buy te Socks directly from them. Can you please send me pictures of the Socks so I know exaclty which one to get edgar@platinummemorabilia.net The pants didnt come with the jersey number but did come with the hologram number. Im going to the ballpark early tomorrow to get Dewayne to sign the jersey. It shouldnt be that hard to get him in the parking lot.

Posada likes his bats burnt. I think a batch came out that was only slightly charred and he wanted them more burnt.

Ah yes that is what he said, however the bat is from 2006 and is stamped 002 06 under the 456S. It's an early 2006 bat. Reyes switched exclusively to Marucci's during 2006 and only used the red Rawlings the beginning of 2006 season.

The seller unfortunately misspoke. Had it been a AA or more likely a AAA bat it would have been stamped 02 or lower which would have made this Reyes bats one of the earliest Rawlings that is out there.

not sure what went down at coast to coast at the time but that shirt isn't from 1990 as russell didn't begin supplying the major leagues until 1992. i believe the mariners 1990 bp shirts were supplied by rawlings. if you can show a closeup of the russell tag, we can pinpoint the real year.

I saw similar examples on ebay this month... i'm confused on these Mariner bp tops... the coa said 1990, (same style diff, brand) and you guys claimed 1992 (russel) but isn't this what the first russel bp tops looked like for seattle?

no. the style of rob's jersey was used from 1989-92. in 1993, the mariners jerseys underwent a redesign. the photo you show is the 1993-96 style.
in 1992, russell won the contract to be the "official supplier" for MLB. (of course, this didn't mean that every team wore russell in 1992, but most of them did). therefore, due to russells new contract, in 1992 they provided the mariners BP tops. rob has one of those. they also provided the mariners game jerseys. at some point in the 1992 season, the mariners also used rawlings for their home white game jerseys. in 1993, the mariners switched to using only russell for all of their jerseys until 2005.

anyway, given the style and manufacturer, rob's jersey can only be from 1992. coast to coast got it wrong. however, if you look at their cert it seems to have been issued in 2000. 8 yrs later they likely forgot the year of the jersey.

Rudy, always good to learn from you. The seller also mentioned in his description that the jersey was from the early-1990s. The jersey style (1989-1992) and the Russell tag pegs it as 1992. Thanks always for the help.

Jeremy Guthrie game used TBC jersey from the 07-23 game vs the Blue Jays. Guthrie went 5.2 innings in the rain-delayed game, giving up only two runs...and lost! (Story of the first part of his season!) Love the signature, where he adds "O's magic" after his name and number.
He looks like a McFarlane figure in the action photo!

Just picked up a very Nice Eagles suspension helmet. Made by Riddell, the helmet has 2nd generation wing decals. The clock on the inside dates the helmet to 1974 and a gold reconditioning sticker from 1977.

i did, they did not seem to get alot of pants in, or maybe it's not in the system. there is a batting helmet lost there that i'm sure is from that game as well. hope they find it. the last thing i need would be the lineup card and this event would be complete.

I'm not sure if this is something that one may qualify as "game used," but I had the good fortune again this year to work in the press box of the Cal Ripken World Series in Aberdeen, MD (which concluded yesterday with Jupiter, FL beating Mexixo on a walk off homer in the last inning), but after the contest I asked Cal if it was OK for me to have the scoresheet he was using while broadcasting the game for Comcast TV and he politely obliged (the Mexico scorecard is on the reverse side of this)...

Latroy Hawkins 1998 Game Worn Twins Hat Photomatched. I'm still trying to find more photomatches. I did find one other picture with him wearing a hat with "R.S." written on it, but it isn't close enough to be able to consider it a match. I hope to find more though, since this hat shows great use and he wore it for a good while.

Thanks. I just had them use a silver sharpie and asked them to write slow. Any paint pens I had would have been too thick and I would have lost any detail.

i won the teagarden last week from mlb.com and i got it yesterday. picked up the kinsler jersey last week at the rangers game. it was the last set 1 jersey from 07 they had so i bit the bullet. take care josh. also the teagarden jersey is a size 52 which is a huge jersey for a guy whos 6'1 200 lbs.

Kelly Johnson 2008 Braves helmet. That big white scuff mark above the logo stood out to me every time I watched Kelly on TV this year. A few days ago I noticed that he was wearing a new helmet, which lead me to wonder what happened to the one with the big white scuff mark. I'm happy to report that it's resting comfortably on my kitchen table as I write this.

With thanks to Jim, I was able to pick up a Kila Kaaihue game used bat. The Louisville brander inverted the first "A" and the seller listed the bat as "KVAIHUE" instead of "KAAIHUE." It's a great Hawaii bat to add to my collection.

Also went over to the hotel where we talked for about 30 mins in the lobby. He did sign for me a couple of times at the park. I got the negro league uniform signed by him too !:D

I just won this on Ebay tonight. I thought about waiting to post it at the beginning of the September thread instead of the end of the August thread. Maybe I'll do both. It comes with the MLB hologram dating it to 9/26/07. Last home game of the year for the Tigers. Getty has a picture of Raburn making a sliding catch in the outfield, which explains the dirt stains on the jersey.
