Majestic Tag Code

Since Majestic became the official supplier of MLB game cut worn jerseys last year, should ALL jerseys have the inside tag with the respective code, i.e., "0065", "0062"???? I am contemplating buy a game cut worn jersey that DOES NOT have this inside tag, however, has a strip tag, indicating, player, size and year on under the left front tail tag. Baseball experts, please let me know...thanks...

You must be referring to the Red Sox jerseys currently on eBay. Not sure of the inside tag but for the 2nd half of 2005, the Red Sox did use strip tags on the front of their jerseys.
