Paul Bako jersey on ebay

The Paul Bako jersey on eBay is in my opinion just an authentic jersey and not issued/worn. Here's a few reasons why:

The seller states it was worn in 2000 or 2001.

Both in 2000 and 2001, the Braves did not have the Russell logo on the sleeve, PLUS the Braves used 4-digit year tags.

In 2000, the All Star Game patch was on all jerseys.

In 2001, the Eddie Matthews patch was on all jerseys.


I'm currently waiting on a response from the seller.

Also, I was at the Braves fanfest in 2007 and they were mixing in game worn jerseys with the authentic jerseys.

To add more to this, according to baseball-almanac, Paul Bako never wore #20 with the Braves. He wore #9

Kyle you are incorrect about the Russell logo on the 2000 & 2001 jerseys. Both did have the red/blue Russell logo on them. You are correct about the missing Matthews patch & All-Star Game patch.

ahhh you're right.......when I was looking up pictures from those years I was looking at the wrong sleeve
