Do I have a match on this Gooden jersey?

Gooden's 1989 season was cut short due to injuries. Photos seem very tough to come by. Finally picked up the 1990 Mets Yearbook and there was only one picture from the season. It's not the best shots but all the pinstripes seem to match up. I'd love to hear some impartial opinions.

It's close, and I could be wrong, but I don't think so.

1) The 5th pinestripe to touch the "Mets" logo (top right of the 'M') appears farther to the right in the photo than on the jersey.
2) In the photo, it looks like there is a pinstripe in the middle of the 'e', while there isn't one on the jersey (I'm not quite sure about this one, as it's hard to tell from the scan).
3) On the bottom right of the 't', in between the letter (t) and the pinstripe, there appears to be more white jersey in the photo than in the scan.

Its hard to tell with the photo, but here goes my opinion,the pinstriping does seem to be slightly off on the right side of the M and also as previously mentioned around the Tee. Pinstriping near the V in the collar may be slightly off also. Just a few things for you to take a closer look at. Good luck.

Nope on that card the blue pinstripe is right up against the orange piping on Goodens left arm on his jersey theres about an inch space between the blue pinstripe and the orange piping.

Here go a couple of other possibilities. The pinstripe and piping seem to be a better match in the picture on the cover of the 1990 Mets yearbook and this other 1990 card. Maybe somebody on the forum could scan this pic if they have a copy of the yearbook.

Very close.... VERY close! I did find one thing that prevents this from being a match, however. Check out the pinstripe on Gooden's left shoulder, the closest one that is parallel with the orange and blue stripes. On the card, it is very close to the orange stripe, and the jersey in question's pinstripe is much further away from the orange stripe.

On the card, it looks like the first pinstripe to go through the '6' is further to the right than on your jersey (most noticeable at the top). Also, on the inside of the '6', there is less white to the left of the pinstripe on your jersey than there is on the card.
