I just won a Darryl Strawberry game worn batting glove for only $10 on ebay and it states that it comes with a letter from Strawberry/Yankees. Has anybody seen a certificate like this before (It's pictured in the auction)?

The Yankees did issue COA's like that after the 1996 season when they sold off a lot of the game used stuff.

That is the exact COA that the Yankees used for all of their game used and autographed items at their 1995 and 1996 fan fests.

So does that mean that the glove was worn in the 95' season? He played for the Yanks from 1995-1999 so I'm guessing that it was worn in '95 if the fanfests' were held before the season

The two fanfests that I have LOA's from were held in Jan 2006 and Jan. 2007 if I remember correctly it could have been the first of February. I'm sure if you hit getty images for a little while you can find Straw using this kind of glove to at least give you a reasonable time frame for it.
