gwynn s44 bat?

i am being offered this bat; it is 33". i don't see anything in the records of him ordering that model. is it possible he did? it is pre 86 label.

I just took a look and I don't see him ordering a S44. There are few orders for "Any's" which could have been made into S44's because that is what the turner was making at the moment.
