Opinion on Carew Jersey

I am curious as to your thoughts on this Carew jersey. I haven't ever seen an Angels jersey with the Angels sewn on straight across the chest and the halo is backwards, ie. it shouldn't tilt to the front. Anyone seen one like this before? Thanks.

Its got a lot of things wrong with it....No NOB & I don't even think the Angels used Rawlings for their road tops at anytime during Carew's tenure there.

during carew's entire tenure with the angels, the angels wore the california patch on their jerseys. the ebay jersey seems to lack any patch.

re: the halo
very strange. all i can think is that it could be a minor league jersey. this may explain the variation in team wordmark, supplier, lack of nob, and no CA patch. #29 for some angels minor league team.

They used Rawlings Grey Road Jerseys in 1979 and those had NNOB. this would also make it Carew's first year with California. You guys are correct though it should have state Of Cal Logo on the arm. The Rawlings tage indicates it is from 1972-1984 before they switched to the 4 white bars at the bottom.:)
