I just picked up this GU Alex Gordon bat. Can't wait to get it in the mail! Never seen one of these before. He typically uses LVS M9's so he was probably just trying Old Hickory out.

Well son of a gun! Nice pick up! I saw one about a month or so ago that was autographed and came with a Just Minors certificate. It was a really nice bat. Someone BIN for I believe $599!

I am a big Gordon fan, kind of curious how much did you pick this bat up for? If you don't mind me asking.

Its actually still on the website for some reason. Ive always been tempted to buy the Billy Butler LFC's is offering.

I bought it for $295 as the website says. Was the Just Minors bat the same type of bat? Was it uncracked? Also, LFC's is what company? I have never seen many Billy Butler bats anywhere! I can't afford to buy anything else though...

Yeah, I am starting to collect Gordon items.

No, I believe it was an LS, and I want to say it was uncracked? LFC is Left Field Collectibles. It looked like this one. The best close up I could find.

If your looking for other Alex Gordon memorabilia you can check out Rich Altman's Hollywood collectibles. He is Alex Gordon's exclusive memorabilia dealer. Alex will also be signing autograph's at Rich Altman's show in Overland Park, KS this weekend if you are interested.

I don't see a Billy Butler bat or an Alex Gordon bat at LFC. Where is this bat?

Hi Brian-

LFC had the Butler bat on Ebay on a 20 day auction, or along those lines, for a BIN of about $245. Im almost certain no one bought it. Call them and see if they still have it, Im sure they do. It was a pretty nice bat.

I think you mean BPH(the same co I got the Gordon bat from). I actually bought that bat awhile back because it was thought to be uncracked, but it actually had a very slight crack in it, so I returned it. It is a very nice bat though.

Not a deal at all. I just wanted to make sure I didn't miss out on a great bat. I am bummed someone bought that other Gordon gamer. Although I can't afford it at $500+. Gordon stuff is hard to come by.

Did Gordon ever wear #4? I saw that number written on the knob, but he is wearing #7 on the photo in the thread. Is it possible someone else used it?

Yep! He wore #7 last year. This year he wears #4 and Ross Gload wears #7

That's interesting. The only person I remember wearing 4 recently for the Royals was Angel Berroa, but I know for a fact that isn't the way Angel writes his "4"

Yup, Gordon switched to #4 this year (its the number he has worn in college, highschool, etc.). So the bat is certainly from 2008. It must have seen very limited use if any as he is always seen in pics with the M9's.
