When did the Blue Jays use this style of lettering? The upcoming Grey Flannel auction notes this is a Wells 2002 gamer, however, I've never seen anything like this on any other Jays jersey from 2002 or other years. Likewise, no strip tag in the collar or team paperwork.

This is just a preview. This auction will be open for bidding on: 4/15/2008

On the left front tail is the "Majestic" manufacturers tag. Attached below is the size "48" flag tag. Inside the left seam of the jersey is the "0062" wash code tag. Across the front is "TORONTO." Below that on front and on back is the player number "10." Across the back is the player name "WELLS" sewn directly on the jersey. All lettering and numbering is done in red and blue on white tackle twill. On the back of the collar is the official MLB logo patch. On the left sleeve is the "Majestic" embroidered logo with the "Blue Jays" patch above. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.

After contacting Grey Flannel, it appears the shirt is no longer listed.
