View Full Version : Trouble figuring out what make this bat is

This Alex Cintron gamer is probably from '01-'05. The manufacturer's logo is gone (appears to have been a decal of some kind) but left a residual oval ring that is the exact size of a Rawlings logo - too small to be a LS.

That's a LS model number, though, isn't it? On the other hand, do either LS or Rawlings normally have "PRO SERIES" on the barrel?

The only thing stamped into the knob end is a big "3.5", and there's an odd little metallic foil ring where a lot of bats have the colored tape rings.

I'm baffled.

I don't think I've ever seen a foil ring like that on a bat. I wonder whether it might be a means of narrowing down the date range on my bat. I notice that your bat has the same ring - what year is it from?

The bat is not mine and can be found on ebay, the listing says its from the 2004 season.
