Seller isn't showing much, can't see tags in collar even back of jersey. I'd start by asking him to post pics of those areas, then ask about provenance.

That is nothing more then a retail authentic starter jersey. A game issued or worn jersey would be much longer length with a year tag next to the starter tag. Also should have a tag inside the jersey that would say made for starter by ripon athletic - berlin, wi. USA

Jersey is not game worn or even game cut. Gamers from that era did not have the Starter tag in the neck as this one has. It is a store bought retail authentic.

Thanks for your insights. One question to Steeltownjerseys: there was a Kordell Stewart Game Used Jersey from 1996 listed as a featured item in Bricol Sports Auctions last auction which has the Starter tag in the neck. To your knowledge, was this style utilized in that year? Many thanks.
