I have a friend that has a jersey that I believe may be game worn of a member of the NY Giants NFL Team....The player....Brad Van Pelt played from 1973-1983 for the Giants.....The jersey is a road jersey and all he can recall is that it has screened on numbers/name......he stated it has several team repairs and paint transfer marks on the jersey......I am going to look at it this weekend......what should I be looking for in that time period to try to date it and to try to figure out if it is the real deal or not?....Make, any tagging, numbers sewn/screened etc?....Any help would be greatly appreciated....I know my friend was a close friend of Van Pelt's so I have some great hope that it is a legit gamer.....thanks in advance for your assistance!
