Although this may look like a question better quited for the autograph forum, my question has more to do with how to obtain the best possible item to get signed. I have a friend in the Phoenix area that has the opportunity to get Wayne Gretzky to sign some things for him and he asked me what would be the best jersey to get signed. Game used items are out of reach, and I assume original game issued would be as well. So what is available on the current market today that would be closest to a vintage blue Oilers jersey, and any recommendations on where to obtain one? I am also intrigued by the various all-star jerseys that are out there. The nicest ones I have seen have already been signed (through WGA) and are in some cases Mitchell & Ness jerseys, but it looks like there are several other manufacturers. Any suggestions?

Thanks!
Joel

Joel,
I have a white old style authentic CCM Gretzky jersey available if you have any interest. It is a size 52, has the fight strap, captain's "C", CCM and the NHL shield sewn on the rear hem. If you have any interest. I can be contacted at njvette1@aol.com. John.

To add to my previous questions...

There appears to be a series of jerseys out there called the 'CCM Vintage Collection' a sample is here:

And then the 'Vintage Hockey' series from Mitchell & Ness. http://www.mitchellandness.com/detail.aspx?ID=2071

If anyone here has any ideas on the differences, I would appreciate knowing - or if you know of a place I can pose my question (another forum perhaps?) I would like that too...

Thanks!
Joel
