A lot of people are on the bubble whether being on the list is going to stop the players from making the hall of fame. Does "not being on the list" help those players that were once considered on the bubble? Thome for example, considered to be a solid "maybe" will more than likely end up with 600 HR and 1500 RBI's.. His name is seldom if ever mentioned with the steroid scandal. Does his avoiding the list increase his chances of going into the hall? Many people continue to suggest he does not belong because he is a DH. Truth told 1/10 of his career has been as a DH. Who else has avoided the dreaded Mitchell list and increased their chances of going to Cooperstown?
