I'll say in advance that I got this for under a $100 and the person had no idea what they owned. weird thing is, it came today and no name on the back, weird, any ideas people. did the nugs ever wear the rainbow with no name?

If indeed there was never a name on the back (hold it up to the light and look for an outline to make sure) then it looks to have been made as an extra jersey that never made it to the lockeroom. Very cool looking.

dont think it was weird for it to have all the tags, especially the year and LB tag without having the name, I'm puzzled! either way a sweet ebay score!

The 87-88 Nuggets used nameplates. Can you see evidence that a nameplate was removed? I have never seen a handwritten extra length tag (LB stands for length body). What is the measurement of the extra length? There is no notation of the length (2 inches? 3 inches?). Why is this not notated on the tag? English wore a size 46 in 1986 and 1987. Seems odd for him to go down in size. Does the jersey appear to ever have been washed? These are questions to be considered. Still, a nice jersey. Also, store boughts did not have names on back and were the same quality as gamers. However, store-boughts did not have year tags.

Any time a star player jersey with interesting variations like this shows up, you have to wonder if it might be a salesman sample...

as far as i can tell there was no nameplate removed and there is no notation of extra length, its got me puzzled for sure!

I'm super excited about, its a great vintage piece for the collection, especially for 75 delivered, but I'd love to figure out a bit more about it
