Alex Rodriguez Game Used Or BP Bat?

I posted an earlier question regarding this bat and didn't get a response. So I thought I would try again using a better worded title. I am hoping to get an opinion regarding this bat. It was a gift from my dad and we were told it was game used in 2007. It also came with a C.O.A. stating this. I know Alex uses black bats mainly in games and Blond in BP. I was under the impression he used mainly the G174 in BP though, so; due to the fact that it is a P72 I am hopeful it is legit. It shows nice usage and displays very well and I will still enjoy it even if it is a BP bat. I have found a few pics with Alex batting with blond bats this season. I wasn't able to get a photo match though. Any opinions? I know there are a few experts here.

MVP marketing seems to have the corner on ARod game used bats. They have been selling game used bat autographed by ARod and some home run bats. All of them are are black Louisville Sluggers. I didn't see every game ARod played in this year, but all the games I saw he used black Louisville Sluggers. Unless you can find a picture of ARod using a blond bat in a game this year my best guess is it is a batting practice bat.

Dont quote me, but I seem to remember hearing that Arod uses blond bats for BP and black for game use.

The only blond bats I have seen Arod use with the Yankees, other than batting practice G174's, were Old Hickory bats. And I believe he only used those in his first season with the Yankees. Possibly the first two, but definitely not last year. I would be willing to bet that he used black P72 and C271L models exclusively the last couple seasons.

Thanks for the replies. I will have to search for pictures and hopefully one will show up someday. I can live with it even if it is a batting practice bat. It really is a nice bat.

I spoke with ASI directly regarding the certificate claiming this is a game used bat and confronted them with the fact that Arod uses mainly black bats in games. The owner insisted the bat was acquired from a reliable source and Arod used Blond bats in at least 10% of at bats last season and the bat is legit. So; I am offering a reward for a picture of Arod swinging a Blond P72 in a 2007 regular season game. I don't know what the forum rules are with respect to rewards but I will be open to discussion if anyone comes up with a photo.

I have looked for ARod using a blonde LS in the last 3-4 seasons and I haven't found any pics of him using them. I know he used the Old Hickory blondes and that was a few years back. If anyone can find a pic, I too would love to see it.

Thanks for trying. The certificate says 2007 on it so if someone in the future sees one in a 2007 game it will be appreciated.
