Jeter bats with block letters

What years did Louisville Slugger issue bats for Derek Jeter with block letters before they went to his signature? I know this had been asked before but my attempt to search didn't find it. I would appreciate the information as I have one of his LS bats with block letters in addition to several with his signature. Thanks for any information.

I believe script began in '98. I may be wrong but that's what I've been told. I shall investigate...

This was taken at spring training in '98 and he is holding a block letter model. So at least thru '97 for those. Maybe sometime in '98 but I can't find a real good shot yet.

I picked up a new Derek Jeter bat. It is script but shows no MLB or TPX logo. Any ideas what year it is from?
