I am hoping to acquire soon a pair of 1st baseman gloves. I have "some wallspace" to display that way, or it can sit in a display on a flat surface. Want one that displays 1-2 gloves. Please assist.

I have this one in my office....

It looks great, and hangs on the wall.

I have a first baseman's mitt in a case made to display a football. It is a great fit. I will post pics when I get home if you like.

The dimensions are approx. 8" High X 13" Wide (the base is a little wider). This is just a basic display for a football, but the mirrored back adds a nice touch. I think I payed about $25 on sale at Michael's.

Bump.

Any other displays? LMK size, etc. The one pictured here by forum member is attractive. How does the acrylic open to get the glove out??

Speaking for the one I posted, the top just sits on top of the base in grooves. It can be easily picked up and set back down onto the base.

On the one I posted, The acrylic has a plastic "lock" on the front. Pretty easy to get in and out. Not to mention, it just looks cool. Lot of compliments, and high enough on my wall to keep my little one from reaching it.

Thanks for the tips and information. There must not be a huge market for glove cases out there, only 2 responses... When I get the 2 gloves I just bought I will see if they fit in the one Bigtrucks has mentioned as pricey - but very attractive...

Look around the web for one. They fluctuate in price...and many places will engrave the team name for free. That's the best part about it. It is a quality item and it really does look great. You can email me to see how mine looks... bigtruck260@centurytel.net (bigtruck260@centurytel.net)

I'll hit you up when I get back home...I have a hard time getting into my personal email from work...;)
Here is a photo to tide you over until then. This is my actual display with a Chris Carpenter signed glove. The glove fits in the display fine, and has room. It is a full sized Adult Mizuno glove.

Nice Dave. Don't forget to mention how easy this acrylic opens...

I am adding a pretty nice game used glove to my collection shortly and am interested in that fram type glove case. On the website, it says "One name plate available at no additional charge

I was wondering if anyone here has the nameplate?, where was it placed?, does it look cheesy? Would love to see a pic in anyone has one with the name plate.

Thanks a lot for the help
