I was watching a 4pm ET west coast football game a few weeks ago and noticed the field look like it was lined up so it ran north and south. Are all NFL stadiums built this way?

The old Tampa Stadium and the New Ray Jay , both had/have the field so it runs North and South from end zone to end zone . The main seating areas are on the East and West side of the field. Does this make sense?

I was wondering cause you sometimes hear announcers saying rushers are running North or South.

So doesn't anyone know what direction the field runs in your home town ? I think it would be interesting to find out if all the stadium's fields ran North and South . That is the case in Tampa ...........

Soldiers Field in Chicago runs North and South along the lake front.

I never thought about it, but that makes sense. That way the sun would never be directly in any teams eyes, as it goes east to west.

I can say that Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati runs northwest to southeast.

I am pretty sure Cleveland Browns Stadium runs east-west.
