Hi Everyone.

After speaking with Chris Cavalier this morning, we thought it was a good idea to follow-up on a post made by an insightful forum member in the Dan Marino/AMI thread regarding the forum rules in general as well as contacting sellers prior to questioning items in the forum. We really liked the way the post broke down the proper way to go about questioning an item before you jump on the forum "guns-a-blazin'". Our only addition/edit would be to this forum member's third point...

1) Gather evidence and facts that support your claim. Remember, it's OK to ask questions on the forum without calling an item fake.

2) Follow forum rules and contact the seller before posting. Please remember to give that seller a reasonable amount of time to respond before you make a post.

3) Refrain from making unnecessary editorial comments or taking shots at the seller in your post. Whether you think the seller is a "crook", a "joke", etc., is irrelevant...state the facts and let them speak for themselves.

Thanks to Mark Hayne for breaking this down so well. As always, we appreciate everyone's involvement, but we need to make sure we are making posts that question items as responsibly as we possibly can. This forum has changed the face of the hobby, and if we can try to follow these three simple steps, we honestly believe our impact will only be greater. If anyone has any questions, please email us anytime.

Thanks,

Rob Steinmetz
