i need help with this geoff blum bat

can anyone tell me if this bat was actually used by geoff blum back when he was with the expos

I would say no. I have never seen a taped Blum.

He was referring to the gripping tape on the lower handle

i know the seller put it their to hold the handle together as you can see in the pic the handle is splitt in two also, he put it their to make it look better.

It looks like the white criss-crossed handle tape has some use on it. Are you sure the seller put it there after the fact? For what it's worth...I have 2 Blum Astros bats....neither are taped.

if geoff blum put the tape on and he shattered the bat the tape wouldnt be in that same condition it would be torn too, ive been watching this item for about four months so it could look used because the seller has handled it so much

The criss-cross tape is for grip on the bat. If you look towards the top of the tape where the crack it, you can see that it is torn a little too.

If you look close to the tape you can see it's ripped from the bad crack. You have to look real close. I'm looking at the top of the tape towards the lable the first inch or so it ripped.
