Nabbed a killer Furcal GU Jersey!

Went to the final game of the Dodgers Season and they had a Silent Auction and I nabbed a killer GU Furcal Home Jersey that has wonderful game use, eventhough it was only used for one game.

It was used on 7/22/07 against the Mets and Rafael (Furcal) had a big arse head-first slide into 2nd that did the "dirty" work!

I will post some pic's tomorrow.

Also nabbed a 2006 Aaron Sele Road Jersey at one of their specialty Kiosk's for a very reasonable price...

In keeping with one of my posts on another thread....

There wasn't a GU ball to be found or bought at any of the kiosks, when just 5 days ago they were available....

Furcal went 2 for 5 with a lead off homer in the first and was caught stealing 2nd that gave this jersey some nice patina!!!

I would have thought that the Furcal jersey would have been auctioned and sold in the Shirts auction back in July. Maybe there was a reserve and it wasn't met? Maybe he used more than one jersey in that game? In any event, that is a great jersey!

I haven't participated in those auctions, but maybe some LA forum members can chime in on how those auctions worked.

Yes, I pretty suprised to see it and it only had one day of use. Furcal was tagged out trying to steal 2nd off of Hernandez in the 5th and was tagged out by Reyes on a head first slide and that was the drt spot on it!

Go to the Dodgers web site and they have a photo gallery that you can go back to that game and it shows the slide.

I was able to print it, but not able to save it (the picture), otherwise I would have posted it.
