At the suggestion of many customers, REA is providing a few valuable links below
that may be of great interest to many collectors. Some of these links may
provide extremely valuable information that will help collectors, and maybe even
save you money. Some may just provide some fun weekend reading. We hope you find

The Game Used Forums Message Board:

This is one of the great hobby information resources on the internet. In
addition to providing a tremendous amount of information about game-used items
and authenticity, the message boards also provide valuable information and
warnings about fraud and other problems in the industry, much of which is found
nowhere else. If you collect game-used items or are interested in the problems
of the industry, bookmark this site.

Hey Everyone,

I just got back from being out of town today and I thought I would add something here. I actually spoke with Rob Lifson a few days ago and I will say my admiration for him continues to grow each time we speak (which is pretty hard to do considering I already have a great deal of respect for him). I feel as though he is a brother to all those seeking to make the hobby a better place and I admire his willingness to address tough issues that need to be addressed.

My recent discussion made me feel even more confident that, like many I have been fortunate enough to establish relationships with through GUU, Mr. Lifson is not coin operated and is driven more so by the desire to see the hobby move in a positive direction. On a related note, I think it is fair to say there is a pretty positive picture painted of Mr. Lifson in the book The Card (if you haven't read the book already I highly, highly recommend you do). And, for those who have dealt with Mr. Lifson, I also think it is fair to say that picture painted of him in that book seems to be completely justified.

I'm personally thrilled that Mr. Lifson continues to be such a positive force in the hobby when I think he could very easily retire comfortably if his only concerns were monetary. I would also like to personally and publicly thank him for the mention of the forum in his email. It was a wonderful gesture from a very classy person and one that I hope enables more collectors to benefit from the information shared on this site.

Sincerely,
Chris Cavalier

Lifson is a top not notch guy and well respected all around. He deals with many areas. In the vintage baseball card field he is regarded as both as reputable and as one of the 2-3 most knowledgeable people in the field.
