Finally got it.

Bat was used for one at bat that I could find so far. Posada got an rbi single with it in the top of the 8th inning, May 29th, 2007 against the Blue Jays. Posada was leading the league in hitting during this game. He cracked the bat after blooping one over the second baseman's head, scoring Derek Jeter. I'm going to go back a few games to see if he used it prior to May 29th.

I circled the points that match. The one white spot across the right side can be easily seen as well as the points of the burn in the grain.

Thanks DC, I appreciate that.

Since I'm sure many people will be asking, I'll tell ya the super secret way that I did that....hahah

I watched the game, stopped the video as much as I could frame by frame, and then took a digital photo of my computer screen, real high tech huh? Then of course I hosted the photo and VOILA!

its really tough to see the tpx and mlb logos on the bat in the picture but everything else looks like it matches. It sucks to only have the wood grain patterns to go by but it does look like a nice match.

yeah its tough to see them in the photo that I took but if you look, you can see that dark burn line goes right through the TPX logo and there is a white spot to the right of that. When you view the bat on the screen, its much more obvious. No doubt in my mind on this one.

Those are great pics but sadly, that is a different bat. Mine has a dark burnt grain mark right where the signature is. Thank you though!

Is it common for him to use different bats throughout the game?? Ill keep looking for ya...

I'm not sure if its a habit of his but I know that the bat he used in the beginning of the game was different. That one had ALOT of pine tar. Mine has alot less. Also, some photo sites have their dates all screwed up on their photos.

On a side note, I just figured out that with the rbi single that he hit, the bat that I have was used for his 1222nd hit and career rbi # 800....
