Does anyone know anything about the comapny "Stall & Dean" out of Brockton MA? I recently saw an old Red Sox jersey with that tag name?

Thanks

They're one of Americas's oldest Sporting Goods Companys. They are most famous for hockey jerseys and equipment. Made jerseys and equipment for all sports. They still make some "throwbacks". I started a thread about the Red Sox jersey you mention, but no one replied. I have never seen a Boston Red Sox made by Stall&Dean. Hockey collectors could shed some light. Brockton, Mass. is of course the hometown of Rocky Marciano and Paul Super-Apple.

stall & dean with was also one of the many companies (such wilson, spalding, rawlings, draper maynard, macgregor, nokona, hutch, etc.) that produced leather football helmets in the '40s - here's a nice one that sold at auction not too long ago for $1k...
